Wilmot restores Macdonald and the Prime Ministers Path

  

Despite years of activist backlash and vandalism that forced its temporary removal, a vital statue honoring Sir John A. Macdonald has successfully returned to public view as part of the reinstalled Prime Ministers Path in Wilmot Township.

The Toronto District School Board announced that the renaming of the schools that bear the names of Sir John A. Macdonald, Henry Dundas, and Egerton Ryerson has been stopped.

 

SUCCESS AT QUEEN'S PARK

Queen’s Park Statue

Good news! After years of being covered in plywood for its own protection, the statue at Queen's Park is now back.

 

SUCCESS IN WILMOT, ONTARIO

Wilmot Statue:  More good news!  Five years after being removed, the statue has been re-installed in Wilmot Township, Ont.
